Modular design featuring counter balance sprung assistance with optional twin handrails and a superior wooden construction, three inch treads, insulated hatch along with rubber anti-draft seals. Concealed latch and hinges complete this practical stylish design. All supplied and fitted with a minimum of fuss.
iLux has a light easy operation with good insulation and draught-proofing properties. The hatch comes with a white no maintenance wipe clean surface that sits almost flush with the ceiling. It also incorporates PVC architrave to give a neat finish to the hatch.
The three section timber ladder has deep, comfortable, safe treads and comes with one metal handrail (optional second handrail on request). The ladder angle in set to give the user confidence when using. As the length of the hatch is 1100mm, there is no need to duck or struggle to get through the hatch, walking upright while climbing gives safe, comfortable access.

Loft access can be made a quick, safe and easy operation when the iLux Loft Ladder is installed.
The main feature is its ease of use. Young and old alike will find the damper assisted hatch swings down in a silent effortless action.
Combine this feature with the built-in insulation, concealed hinges, rubber draught sealing strip, and finally the integral ladder itself, made from solid pine with 70mm deep treads, and you will find accessing your loft a pleasure.
